How do I pay for my order?
If dropped off during hours, you can pay with cash or card. If mailed in or dropped off, you will be invoiced via Square upon our check-in process. This can be paid via card.
How do you send my digital files?
All files are sent via WeTransfer. Please save these files once opened, as they expire, and check spam if you’ve not used this free file sharing platform before.
What if my film is blank?
An in-store credit will be applied for all film that is blank. While we cannot give credit for the development, we can for the pre-paid scans. No work for us means no charge for you. We might recommend a workshop or repair if we suspect camera or user error.
Can you scan my negs if I processed at home?
Yep! Email us for pricing.
I don’t have a printer. Can I handwrite my order?
Absolutely! Just please include relevant info and avoid dropping an unlabeled roll.
How long are my negatives held?
We currently are only able to store negatives for 2 months. They will be discarded after that timeframe. Please note that this also applies to your accessories (spools, film holders, etc.)
Can you leave my film uncut?
Yes! Special requests for film can be made anytime. Our standard for 35mm is to cut into sets of 6 and stored in a film-friendly envelope. 120 cuts will depend on format.
Can you develop souped film?
We are weirdly and proudly able to answer YES to this!!! But you must let us know which rolls are souped so that we do not taint entire batches of chemicals and thus ruin other folks’ film. Please be aware there may be additional wait times and charges for these orders.
I’d like my film developed with x developer at x minutes. Can you do this?
In able to ensure consistency and repeatability, we limit which chemicals are used and follow rigid processes. If you have a formula you’d like us to create, please email us. If and when we are to say yes, these highly customized orders will be charged as commissioned projects and priced accordingly.
Do you repair cameras?
Unfortunately, NO. We can no longer take on even the most minor repairs. If you need a consult in determining if your new-to-you camera works, we can offer quick instructional sessions for a fee, or we might recommend a workshop.
Can I come in during your hours to have you show me how to use my camera?
We kindly ask that you email to book a time to do this. Our open studio hours are reserved for pick ups and drop offs only, please. Scheduling a time will allow us to focus on you and your needs.
